About Jude
Jude Parker is the co-founder of Youth Capital Initiative (YCI) and a student at Kent School in Kent, CT, where he will graduate in 2026. Jude’s passion for finance, investing, and economics began in 2019 when he started investing at a young age, sparking a financial exploration journey that shaped his future.
He has built upon this foundation by attending prestigious finance and leadership programs at Georgetown University, Wharton School at UPenn, and Cornell University. Jude also gained valuable professional experience working at the corporate law firm Silver & Collins, where he deepened his understanding of the intersection between finance and law.
As President of the Kent School Investment Club, one of the largest and most dynamic organizations on campus, Jude manages real funds and oversees a team of dedicated students. The club has a diverse, multi-faceted structure, with Jude at the helm, guiding dozens of students in their roles across various divisions, including a guest speaker series, a youth mentorship program, and a news & media team that expands outreach to alumni and the broader community. Under his leadership, the club manages real money and fosters an environment of hands-on learning, where members collaborate to grow and manage the fund, develop investment strategies, and gain real-world financial experience.
Jude’s experience managing real money and working with a diverse group of motivated students has helped him refine his leadership and educational approach. This hands-on experience is the backbone of his commitment to Youth Capital Initiative, where he aims to teach underprivileged pre-teens and teens how to make smart financial decisions and invest for their future. Through this initiative, Jude strives to ensure that every young person, regardless of background, has access to the financial knowledge and tools they need to build a prosperous and secure future.
